CogLab is a computer based laboratory facility for the collection of behavioural data. It consists of seven laboratory cells, each with a computer based setup for a wide range of cognitive experiments, running E-Prime and PsycToolbox aplications. One cell is set up with a tachistoscope with a precision of 1 ms exposure based on LCD shutter technology. Allowing for well controlled studies of visual stimuli like subliminal priming. In addition this room is shielded against radiowaves to allow for a controlled psychophysiology environment with equipment to record EMG, ESR and a 32 channel EEG . One cell is set up with an IView eyetracker to support studies involving eye gaze, eye movements and pupillary responses.

The laboratory has a 12 PC workspace for students and assistants, and two meeting rooms used for teaching purposes ranging from introductory courses in experimental psychology to advanced courses in programming, statistics and experimental training.

The laboratory supports projects related to the study of attention, memory, problem solving and emotional responses to a diversity of stimuli. A small electronic workshop for production of visual and auditive stimuli is linked to the laboratory.
